Stewarding the Mysteries
Stature of a Perfect Man
A. Our Mandate is to Produce Champions by this
Standard
Ephesians 4:13—[That it might develop] until we all
attain oneness in the faith and in the
comprehension of the [full and accurate] knowledge
of the Son of God, that [we might arrive] at really
mature manhood (the completeness of personality
which is nothing less than the standard height of
Christ's own perfection), the measure of the stature
of the fullness of the Christ and the completeness
found in Him. AMP
Ephesians 4:13-15—til we all come to the unity
of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of
God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the
stature of the fullness of Christ; 14 that we
should no longer be children, tossed to and fro
and carried about with every wind of doctrine,
by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness
of deceitful plotting, NKJV
Mysteries to be Stewarded in the Apostolic Hubs
Meaning of the Greek term Mystery; in the New
Testament, the translation of the Greek musterion --a
derivative of muo (to shut the mouth)
The meaning of the Greek:
1) a hidden or secret thing, not obvious to the
understanding
2) a hidden purpose or counsel; secret will: of
men; of God: the secret counsels which govern
God in dealing with the righteous, which are
hidden from ungodly and wicked men but plain
to the godly
3) in rabbinic writings, it denotes the mystic or
hidden sense: of an OT saying, of an image or
form seen in a vision, of a dreamIn the KJV
musterion is translated - mystery or mysteries
27 times.
4) A spiritual truth that was once
hidden but now is revealed, and that,
without the Spirit of Revelation, would
have remained unknown
A. 1 Corinthians 2:6-10—Yet we do speak
wisdom among those who are mature; a
wisdom, however, not of this age nor of the
rulers of this age, who are passing away; but
we speak God's wisdom in a mystery, the
hidden wisdom which God predestined before
the ages to our glory; the wisdom which none
of the rulers of this age has understood; for if
they had understood it they would not have
crucified the Lord of glory; but just as it is
written;
"THINGS WHICH EYE HAS NOT SEEN AND
EAR HAS NOT HEARD, AND which HAVE
NOT ENTERED THE HEART OF MAN, ALL
THAT GOD HAS PREPARED FOR THOSE
WHO LOVE HIM."
For to us God revealed them through the
Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things,
even the depths of God.
B. Revelation 10:7-11—But in the days of the voice of the
seventh angel, when he is about to sound, then the
mystery of God is finished, as He preached to His servants
the prophets. Then the voice which I heard from heaven, I
heard again speaking with me, and saying, "Go, take the
book which is open in the hand of the angel who stands
on the sea and on the land." So I went to the angel, telling
him to give me the little book. And he said to me, "Take it
and eat it; it will make your stomach bitter, but in your
mouth it will be sweet as honey." I took the little book out
of the angel's hand and ate it, and in my mouth it was
sweet as honey; and when I had eaten it, my stomach was
made bitter. And they said to me, "You must prophesy
again concerning many peoples and nations and tongues
and kings."

VIII. The Mystery of Iniquity
1. 2 Thessalonians 2:7-12—For the mystery of
lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains
will do so until he is taken out of the way. Then that
lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with
the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the
appearance of His coming; that is, the one whose coming
is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and
signs and false wonders, and with all the deception of
wickedness for those who perish, because they did not
receive the love of the truth so as to be saved. For this
reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so
that they will believe what is false, 12 in order that they
all may be judged who did not believe the truth, but took

as these.
