Bring them out unto us, that we may rape and humiliate them.’” p. 21 And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them. 14 » They changed the accurately-translated word “know” referring to “sexual intercourse” (Gen. 4:1, 17, 25; 19:8; 24:16; 38:26) to “rape and humiliate” ˃ QKV editors attempt to lead the reader to believe that the sin in question was “brutality to strangers” and not a sexual act. + Is RAPE a sinful sexual act? YES! - cf. 2 Sam. 13:12-22 » They further explain, it was a “power-dominating act” much like what goes on in male prisons today ˃ The context indicates that the “men of the city” of Sodom wanted Lot to bring out “the men” who came to Lot’s house so that they could engage in unscriptural, sexual intercourse (Gen. 19:1-11) ˃ cf. similar story-context of Judges 19:22-25 » The Bible clearly condemns the LGBT agenda here! 15 “Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind in the temple of Molech: it is an abomination” p.75 “Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.” 16 “If a man also lie with mankind in the temple of Molech, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. P. 76 “If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. 17 » By adding “in the temple of Molech” the editors hope the reader will conclude that the abomination in question was not a male having sexual intercourse with another male, but the male was guilty of participating in pagan idolatry. » If these passages were strictly condemning sexual pagan idolatrous practices, why are heterosexual relationships not also condemned? » The context of both passages clearly shows that the list of wicked and abominable acts (“wickedness” and “abomination”) are used interchangeably: ˃ Lev. 18:17, 22, 26-30; 20:13-14 ˃ Primarily refers to unlawful sexual intercourse – especially homosexual behavior + Homosexual acts are singled out as punishable by death in Lev. 20:13. 18 “Their women did change their natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, left of the natural use of the woman, burned in ritual lust, one toward another” p. 545 “For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 19 “Men with men working that which is pagan and unseemly. For this cause God gave the idolators up unto vile affections, receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet” p. 545 “And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.: 20 » Editors did not like the way the Holy Spirit conveyed inspired words ˃ QJV editors wrote: “Romans is our most major editing, but also one of our most powerfully free of interpretive ambiguity; it has been made very clear, yet retains all of the content of the original.” » Rearranged the words in these verses and added “ritual”, “pagan” and “idolators” » Attempt to give the reader the impression that vile, lustful and shameful behavior in question was more about idolatrous practices rather than the unnatural sexual intercourse occurring between male with male and female with female » Romans 1:26-27 is a very graphic description of the sin of homosexuality and lesbianism » Such behavior is not only contrary to Jesus and His word, but it is even against “the natural use” of the way God designed males and females 21 “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor morally weak, nor promiscuous, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God” p. 554 “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God” 22 » In verse 9 the editors take away the stronger words “effeminate” and “abusers of themselves with mankind” and add the softer words “morally weak” and “promiscuous” » According to Thayer’s Dictionary, the Greek word translated “effeminate” refers metaphorically to “a catamite, a male who submits his body to unnatural lewdness” ˃ The Greek word translated “abusers of themselves with mankind” refers to “one who lies with a male as with a female, a sodomite” » 1 Cor. 6:9-10 teaches that not only will idolaters, thieves, etc. (separate acts) miss out on God’s inheritance, but also those who engage in sinful sexual behaviors: Especially those who submit to sexual activity with homosexuals (catamites) and those who are sodomites (homosexuals) » It is obvious why the effeminate editors of the QJV are “soft” on these words 23 “For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves ____ ________, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine” p. 575 For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine” 24 » The editors do not choose the same English word “promiscuous” in this passage as they did in 1 Cor. 6:9. » The statement, “them that defile themselves” is the same Greek word as “sodomite” in 1 Cor. 6:9 » Such sin is described by the Holy Spirit as “contrary to sound doctrine.” 25 “Even as Sodom and Gomorrha and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after non-human flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire” p. 593 “Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. 26 » The editors gave the following reason why they changed “strange flesh” to “non-human flesh” in this passage: “we chose to highlight the fact that the male mob in Sodom raped angels, which is ‘strange’ in that it is nonhuman.” ˃ “Strange flesh” - “another i.e. one not of the same nature, form, class, kind; different” – Thayer ˃ They lusted for same-sex flesh = “strange flesh” » Only the scriptural marriage bed between male & female is what is honorable among all and undefiled – Matt. 19:4-6; Heb. 13:4 27 » QJV Editors write; “We didn’t change anything else to create this edition of the Queen James Bible. The Queen James Bible resolves any homophobic interpretations of the Bible, but the Bible is still filled with inequality and even contradiction that we have not addressed. No Bible is perfect, including this one.
