TENDER NOTICE
Sealed Tenders affixed with revenue stamp of Rs. 6/- are invited from the Registered
/Dealers Suppliers/ manufacturer for Supply of Single Led Type Litter Bin and Twin
Led Type Litter Bin for the use of Municipal Council. Baramulla which shall reach to
the office of Undersigned on or before 14-12-2013 upto 2 PM and shall be opened
on the same day in presence of the tenderers who may wish to remain present. In
case last date of reception of tenders happens to be a holiday or the office remains
closed due to some unavoidable circumstances, the tenders will be received on the
next working day upto 2 PM and will opened on the same day. The tender document
shall be available from the office of undersigned during office hours against cash payment of Rs.100/. The above said items shall have the following specification.
Specification for Single Lid type Litter Bins
i. Supply of single Lid type Litter Bins having capacity up to 130/ litter standard branded make. The litter bins should be made of low density plastic (unbreakable) and
should resist temperature from 0°to 50°
ii. Providing of fancy type G.I pipe stand having 2 NO 50 mm dia, 3 mm thickness, 5ft
long G.I Pipe connected with each other above ground level and 2 NO, 75" dia 5" long
G.I pipe e welded at suitable height (for holding litter bins properly). The top of the G.I
pipe should be welded with good looking post top.
iii. Providing of 2 NO sheet steel 4"x6" with 5" long ½” dia G.I rod (welded n centrally) to be fitted on opposite sides of litter bins for holding litter bins properly above
ground level, including 8NO of suitable sizes of nuts and bolts.
iv. Providing of 1" width 3 mm thickness iron belt for necessary cross frame support
work for litter bins. The belt should be properly welded and providing of 4NO holes of
suitable size, including nuts and bolts for supporting the litter bins.
v. The colour of bin should be Green only.
vi. Painting of G.I pipe stand, iron belt, post top and other accessories with one coat
of steel primer and two coats of metallic paint with writing as "M.C. Baramulla" and
logo of the Department as per sample available in the Office.
vii. Providing of necessary LOGO and other information on the litter bins.
Specification for Twin Lid type Litter Bins

v. The colour of bin should be blue and Green only.

vii. Writing of Institution name and necessary LOGO on the litter bins with florescent
paint.
Terms and Conditions.
1. The tenderer shall have to furnish latest functional status of their unit and in case
of SSI Unit holders from the concerned DIC.
2. The tender shall accompanied with a CDR of Rs. 10000/-( Rupees Ten Thousand)
only pledged to Executive Officer, Municipal Council Baramulla, without which the
tender will not be considered.
3. Before supply order is issued the successful tender has to furnish sample at site
as per specification.
4. The successful tenderer shall have to deliver the supply at Baramulla.
5. The successful tenderer has to undergone for agreement before supply order is
issued.
6. Bank guarantee to the extent of 03% of the total supply cost shall have to furnish
by the successful tender which will be released after one year.
7. In case the goods other that of the approved quality make a size are supplied they
shall be rejected and will have to replaced within a reasonable time by the supplier,
without extra cost. If due to exigencies of public works/interest such replacement is
not possible, the prices of such articles will be reduced suitably.
8. The rejected articles must be removed by the tenderer from the destination where
they be within (03) three days of the date of information of rejection. The officials concerned will taken reasonable care of such material but in no case shall be responsible for and loss/damage that may occur to it while it is on their premises.
9. The contract for supply can be repudiated at any time if the supplies are not made
to satisfaction of the institution.
10. The rates shall mention without any mutilation and no separate correction slip will
be accepted.
11. The tender opening Authority has right to accept or reject any tender without any
reason.
12. Tender should filled in Ink. No tender filled in by pencil or otherwise shall be considered. No additions and alterations should be made in the tender. No over write
should be done Corrections, if any should be done clearly and initialed.
13. The Department has right to reduce/ enhance the quantity of the item mentioned
in the Tender Notice as per requirement at the time of supply of order.
14. Delivery shall be made within one and half month after issuing of supply order,
failing which Rs. 1000/- shall be charged a penalty per day.

HOW TO APPLY: The candidates appeared in the CAT 2013 examination shall have to apply separately at SMVDU alongwith
CAT Examination.
ELIGIBILITY: The minimum eligibility criterion is Graduation in any discipline, with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA. The
candidates appearing for the final year of bachelor degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed
degree requirements and are awaiting result can also apply.
Last date for submission of Application is 27th December 2013.

NOTE: The Faculty of Management,SMVD University shall use the CAT Score 2013 only for short listing the candidates for
admission to two year full time Master Degree Program in Business Administration (MBA) for the Academic Session 2014-2015.
IIMs have no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of the program. The decision related to the conducting of CAT
and the CAT Centers will be taken by the IIMs and will be binding on the applicants.
