Elections and amendments Interim period Interim Period Thought that was important to start work at this meeting (not wait for elected or appointment positions) Thought it would be too difficult to hold meaningful elections before this meeting Recommend that the membership approve the steering committee to assume leadership roles for one interim year, with elections to occur prior to the 2013 annual meeting, with elected members starting their terms November 2013.
