(Must be between 8 & 32 characters and must contain at least one number. Remember it is case sensitive.) You can also access it from most student web pages by looking for the MyDMU link. Blackboard provides access to online learning materials from any computer with internet access. It enables you to continue your learning activities, collaborate and access resources away from the lecture room. • Blackboard is accessed via myDMU eLearning Your lecturer / tutor will add modules to your blackboard based on your enrolments. eLearning Blackboard is also used to give announcements and information specific to your module eLearning Blackboard gives you access to services that the University offers TURNITIN Blackboard is also used to access Turnitin, the tool used to detect plagiarism KIMBERLIN LIBRARY I.T. RESOURCES • • • • • • • • Learning Zones provide spaces for group and individual work Equipped with workstations (PC and Mac), Power for laptops Bookable syndicate rooms with plasma screens, whiteboards and DVD facilities. Over 500 networked PCs , providing access to a wide range of databases, ejournals, the Internet and email, as well as to applications such as word processing, spreadsheets and Adobe Creative Suite Standard A4 and A3 Black & White and Colour Printing can be sent from any PC and printed off on any device on campus. Photocopying and scanning can also be carried out on any device on campus. Within Kimberlin Library specialist printing of A4 acetates, A4 soft gloss and A3 High Quality is also available in the 1st Floor IT area. Printers available in all student areas Manage your printing and print top-up online at http://printing.dmu.ac.uk You can credit your account with anything from £2.50 right up to £1,000 Any credit you add to your account is non-refundable.
