THE MASTER’s METHOD
GOALS:
1. Help members become sensitive to the
physical, mental, social and spiritual needs of
those around them;
2. To encourage them to lovingly reach out in
unselfish ministry to other Christians;
3. To share divine truths in the setting of
human relationships
THE MASTER’s METHOD
As of about three years ago, there are now
more people living in the cities than in the
rural areas of the world. One estimate
indicates that by 2050, approximately 70% of
the world’s projected 10 billion people will be
living in the cities! Are you weeping for the
cities yet? What are you willing to do for the
people of the cities?

Ministry of Healing, page 143, “Christ’s
method alone will give true success in
reaching the people. The Saviour:
1.mingled with men as one
2.who desired their good.
3.He showed His sympathy for them,
4.ministered to their needs,
5.and won their confidence.
6.Then He bade them, ‘Follow Me.’”

The Master demonstrated an
interest in every human being He
met. He treated them with
respect. He didn’t begin with His
agenda, but theirs.

Day by day, He kindly ministered
to the physical, mental, social and
spiritual needs of men and
women.

Evangelism is not merely
presenting the truth to convince
others, but living, loving
relationship as the basis for
sharing truth.
Verbal witness for Christ
explains the reason for our
concern for others.

How Jesus related to People
The Master didn’t
start with His
agenda, but with
theirs. He began
where they were
and gradually led
them to Himself.

How Jesus related to People
John 1:37 and 38- Jesus asked them
“What do you want?” He started with
their agenda. He begun where they
were.
John 2- Christ’s attendance to a
wedding feast at Cana. Jesus shows
willingness to care for people’s needs
of the present moment.

John 3- Jesus talking with the
Pharisee, who is open on spiritual
direction, so Jesus met him on that
level.
John 4- Jesus met the woman at the
well. Jesus offered an emotional
support, treating her with kindness
and offering her something
wonderful.

John 5- Jesus shows a dramatic
healing by the pool of Bethesda.
Meeting a human being precisely at
the point of his present need.
John 6- Jesus confronted with
thousands of hungry people, and
meet the need with their meager
provision.
