Pneumatic Nail Gun
Nail guns have taken the place of hammers. They
speed up the assembly process by driving nails with a
piston driven by air.
Power Hand Drills
Cordless drills have revolutionized the hand drill
industry. No longer are they limited to the length of
the cord.
Router
Routers help us cut rabbets,
dados, and decorative edges on a
large variety of shapes.
Router Table
Router tables act as small
shapers. They are faster to
set up and more portable
than shapers.
Belt Sander
Belt sanders are used to level out uneven
surfaces. If not used properly they can
ruin a project in a hurry. Students should
not use a belt sander without the
instructors help!!!!
Orbital Sander
Orbital sanders sand in a circular motion. Always sand
with the grain ever with an orbital sander. Keep the
sander moving to help keep sanding circles out of the
work piece.
Random Orbital Sander
Random orbital sanders are very aggressive
sander. Sander with the grain and keep the
sander moving back and forth. Be very careful
when sanding on plywood with any sander.
