Enrol onto a six-week hands-on motivational and
training programme for girls run by the Royal Air
Force on behalf of Buckinghamshire County
Council’s Children’s Partnerships Team.
Where is it being held?
The ‘Girls On A Mission’ programme is a
FREE six-week motivational training
course for girls, run by the Royal Air Force
(RAF). It aims to increase your physical
and emotional health whilst having fun and
making friends.
The programme is being held at RAF
Halton, near Aylesbury.
Who can take part?
‘Girls On A Mission’ is for girls aged 16-24
years old. Please note, there is a limit to
how many girls can register.
How much does it cost?
The programme is FREE and
Buckinghamshire County Council will cover
your public transport costs of getting you
there and back home again.
When does the programme start?
The programme will start mid-September
2014. Attendees must ensure that they
attend a briefing session prior to
commencing the programme. Briefing
session will take place at the start of
September.
What does the programme
involve?
‘Girls On A Mission’ motivational training
includes outdoor and indoor activities that
promote team work, self-confidence and
self-achievement.
As training takes place in a military setting
and uses military facilities, you will be
encouraged to take part in everything.
You will:

Receive a tailored personal training
programme that will inspire and motivate
you.
•
Develop your self-esteem.
•
Work as a team on the low ropes.
•
Undertake a multi-stage fitness
challenge.
•
Achieve an AQA accreditation.
•
Meet new people.
•
