Dario Lasagni Professional Photographer Olafur Eliasson, Piotr Uklansky Museo Marino Marini, Italy Dario Lasagni began his career as a fashion and advertising photographer in 1990, working for several companies like Max Mara, Reebok and Nike. Starting in 1999, his love for art and architecture led him to focus on contemporary artwork and to photograph the work of several national and international artists. During his career, Lasagni has devised new ways of using light, including playing and directing artificial light to give the work of art represented in a photo full three-dimensionality. Lasagni’s photographs have also distinguished themselves for their ability to reflect the artist’s point of view. Thanks to his technical skill, Lasagni has also successfully photographed theatre plays, dance performance, and performance art. Today, Lasagni is one of the best known and most respected photographers in Italy, where he currently works for many of the country’s top artists, galleries, private collections and museums. His photographs have been published in leading Italian and foreign books and magazines.
