Legends of knights By me What are legends of knigths? A traditional story popularly regarded as historical but which is not authenticated, and involves a hero (knight) and often a princess. A knight is a person granted an honorary title of knighthood by a monarch or other political leader for service to the monarch or country, especially in a military capacity. Historically, in Europe, knighthood has been conferred upon mounted warriors. During the High Middle Ages, knighthood was considered a class of lower nobility. By the Late Middle Ages, the rank had become associated with the ideals of chivalry, a code of conduct for the perfect courtly Christian warrior. Since the Early Modern period, the title of knight is purely honorific, usually bestowed by a monarch, as in the British honours system, often for non-military service to the country. The knight in Rusty Armor This book begins with a knight who thought he was the hero of the city, for which he was so proud of his armor that he never took it off and not even when he was with his son Christopher and his wife Juliet; they were so tired of his attitude that they walked away from him until he takes off of his armor. The capricious knight came to seek help in order to remove it ,because he couldn´t take off his armor. After searching and searching he found a buffoon who mentioned that the only way to remove it would be finding the magician Merlin. Merlin tells him that he must go on and pass through three castles : “The castle of the silence”, “The castle of the knowledge and wisdom”, and “The castle of the will and courage”. When he went to the castles the armor started to melt and when the armor was completely destroyed, he changed into a sentimental person , so he could go with his family.
