The American Tribute Project UNITED WE STAND. ® How It Began The American Tribute is a firework salute and poem created in 2001 by a North Carolina family to unite us in a time of grief, and to celebrate our nation. The Story Unfolds The American Tribute firework salute was incorporated into Fourth of July events from San Francisco to New York harbor. The Impact of the Message The American Tribute poem was read at many of the events, and the stanza spread across the country. The American Tribute Stanza Red, for the blood of many heroes shed; White, for freedom's light still shining bright; and Blue, for the courage to stand tall and true! The Problem We forget what is important to remember Lack of Unity is a greater problem today than ever before in our nation’s history Unmarked Memorials are what we call every American flag without a call to remember Our Project Making flag displays across the country a memorial, a unifying reminder, is our goal Cast metal markers with the Tribute stanza are the symbols we are using Our Proposal Support the Project by sponsoring The American Tribute memorial for your flag, or for another public flag display in your community The Donation for the package is $175.00 – including plaque/bracket costs, installation, and a gift to the Wounded Warrior Project Project Founders Thanks for the privilege of meeting with you and sharing our story and our dream And helping us to share it with others….
