THE STORY (THE BRIEF
VERSION)
The Phantom is a “ghost” haunting the Paris Opera House, living out of
the underground tunnels (they really exist!). He was born with a hideous
deformity, and has been shunned from society, despite his musical genius.
He is madly in love with the beautiful soprano Christine Daae who he has
been secretly training under the guise “Angel of Music.” When Christine’s
childhood love returns to Paris and sees her perform, the Phantom turns
to murder and causing general mayhem in the Opera, trying to keep her in
his life, and make her love him in return.
