Välkommen till Hotel Terminus
Redan på 1600-talet var tomten Uggleborg bebyggd. En stor trädgård sluttade
ner mot Klara sjö, som täckte hela nedre delen av Vasagatan mot Tegelbacken.
1749 förvärvades Ängsgården, där Terminus nu ligger, av den kände bergsvetenskapsmannen David Tilas. Han genomförde omfattande renoveringar av
de gamla trähusen. Kort tid efter det att arbetena var slutförda utbröt en häftig
brand i området varvid Ängsgården brann ner och intilliggande Klara Kyrka
förstördes.
Efter branden uppfördes i mitten av 1700-talet ett stenhus med fasaden mot
Klara Vattugränd. Huset byggdes till i etapper och fick sin nuvarande utformning mot Vasagatan 1864 och 1884. Det beboddes av ägarna och gick i arv i olika
släkter.
1908-1909 byggdes fastigheten om till hotell och en femte våning kom till.
Byggnaden innehöll då 85 rum. Under 1930-, 40- och 50-talen moderniserades hotellet successivt. Toaletter installerades i de flesta rummen och bad
och dusch i en del.
Under 1970-och 80-talen utökades hotellet till 155 rum genom påbyggnad av
ytterligare ett plan och tillbyggnad runt gården.
Restaurangen, kök och ekonomilokaler förlades till gatuplanet och rekreation
i form av bastu och jacuzzi till källaren. Samtidigt totalrenoverades hotellet och
erbjuder nu modern standard och komfort.

Apotek
Apoteket Scheele ligger på Klarabergsgatan 64, ca 75m från hotellet, och har öppet dygnet runt.
Akut sjukvård
Vid olycksfall kontakta receptionen, ring sjukvårdsupplysningen på 08
(tel. nr 9) eller ring SOS (nr 0 + 112).
Badrockar Badrockar & badtofflor finns tillgängliga via receptionen.
Bagage
Bagagerummet är beläget vid hotellobbyn. Hotellet ansvarar ej för inlämnat bagage. I mån av behov hjälper hotellet till med bagage.
Bastu &
Finns en trappa ned från hotellobbyn. Öppet 16:30 – 21:00
Bubbelpool
Var god kontakta receptionen före användning.
Brandlarm
Brandlarm ges med hög ljudsignal från alarmklockor i korridorer och rum. Gäster uppmanas orientera sig om nödutgångar. Se även separat brandinstruktion.
Drycker/Snacks Kalla drycker inkl vatten på flaska kan köpas i automaten på våning 3.
Varma drycker och snacks finns att köpa i restaurangen (efter stängning i
Receptionen). Se även information under rubrik vattenkokare.

Skoputsmaskin finns i lobbyn.
Strykning
Strykrum finns på våning 3 vid rum 322. Strykjärn och strykbräda för eventuell strykning på rummet tillhandahålls på begäran via Receptionen.
Taxi/Limousine
Kan beställas via Receptionen.
Telefax
Var god kontakta Receptionen. För att sända ett fax är kostnaden 15 kr för första sidan och 5 kr per sida för resterande sidor.
Toalettartiklar
Toalettartiklar såsom tandborste, tandkräm, kam, plåster, sytillbehör
och rakhyvel kan erhållas i Receptionen.
Tvätt & Press
Lämnas till Receptionen måndag till lördag före kl. 08:30. Färdigt samma dag före kl. 18:00. Lördag och söndag debiteras extra.
Utcheckning
Rummet disponeras till kl. 12:00 på avresedagen. Vänligen lämna tillbaka nyckelkortet till Receptionen.
Valutaväxling
Utländsk valuta kan växlas på Forex, Vasagatan 14 eller Centralstationen.
Vatten
Stockholm har drickbart kranvatten av hög kvalité.
Vattenkokare
Elektrisk vattenkokare med kaffe och tepåsar tillhandahålls via
Receptionen.
Väckning
Väckning programmeras via tv:n (under “meny”), alternativt kontakta
Receptionen.
Värdesaker
Värdesaker för högst 10 000 SEK kan deponeras i Receptionen.

Welcome to Hotel Terminus!
In the seventeenth century there was a two story wooden house in the grounds
of Uggleborg where the Hotel Terminus is now situated.
The house was surrounded by a large garden with slopes down to the waterfront. In 1751 a disastrous fire started in the neighbourhood and destroyed not
only the house but the Klara Church nearby as well.
After the fire a stone building was erected facing Klara Vattugränd. The building
was extended gradually during the next century. The major works were carried
out in 1864 and 1884 creating four stories and a new facade towards Vasagatan.
It was owned and occupied by different noble families.
In 1908-09 a fifth floor was added and the property was rebuilt to an hotel
containing 85 guestrooms. During the years 1930 to 1950 the hotel was partly
refurbished and bathrooms were installed in some of the rooms.
In the 1970-ties and 1980-ties the hotel was enlarged to 155 rooms by adding a
new floor and extending the building around the yard. A restaurant was opened
on the groundfloor an a recreation area with sauna and jacuzzi on the lower
ground floor. At the same time the hotel was totally refurbished and now offers
high standard and comfort.

Beverages
Cold drinks, including bottled water, can be provided in the soft drink
machine on the third floor. Hot beverages and snacks can be purchased
in the restaurant and bar (when closed from the Reception).
Breakfast
Breakfast is served in the restaurant Matsalen on the ground floor
Monday - Friday 6:30 – 10:00 am
Saturday - Sunday 7:30 – 11:00 am
If you would like to have breakfast served in your room during these hours the service charge is 80 SEK per order. Please contact
the Reception.
Check-in
The hotel can not guarantee check-in before 15:00.
Check-out
The check-out time is 12 noon.

Emergency
Please contact the Reception (dial 9) or dial (0 + 112).
Fire alarm
The fire alarm signal is a loud ringing sound in the room and corridor. Please inform yourself of the emergency exits.
Foreign A foreign exchange service, Forex, is located nearby
exchange (Vasagatan 14 or inside the Central Station).
Garage
There are garages within walking distance.
Ice
There is an ice machine in the hallway on the third floor.
Internet
Wireless broadband is free of charge in the hotel. Please contact the
Reception for a password. There is a computer available in the upper lobby.
Ironing
The ironing room is located on the third floor by room 322.
An iron and ironing board can be provided through the Reception.
Keys
The room key card also gives you access to the restaurant (Matsalen)
and the Sauna/Jacuzzi until noon on the day of departure.
Laundry/Press
Laundry left in the Reception Monday - Friday before 8:30 will be
returned the same day before 18:00.
Luggage
There is a luggage room by the hotel lobby (please observe that
the hotel will not be held responsible for luggage kept in the
luggage room).
Pharmacy
The nearest pharmacy Apoteket Scheele (Klarabergsgatan 64) is
approximately 75 m from the hotel and have 24h service.
Photocopies
Please contact the Reception (3 SEK per copy).
Pillows
Extra or alternative pillows can be provided through the Reception.
Radio
Please use the radio function on the TV.
Restaurants
Kasper Restaurant & Bar is open for meals and drinks and
Matsalen at Hotel Terminus for breakfast and lunch.
Reception
The Reception is open 24 hours.
Room service
Available 8:00 to 22:00. Service charge 80 SEK per order.
Please contact the reception. Drinks and snacks can be provided 24h. through the Receptionen.
Sauna/Jacuzzi
Located on the lower ground floor. Open 16:30 – 21:00.
Please contact the reception before being used.
Shoeshine
There is a shoeshine machine available in the lobby area.
Smoking
This is a non-smoking hotel. Smoking is only allowed on the balcony on the 3rd floor. Guests will be charged 2000 SEK, if smoking indoors.
Taxi/Limousine
Can be ordered through the Reception.
Telefax
Available in the Reception. The charge is 15 SEK for the first page and 5 SEK per page for the following pages.
Toiletries
The most common toiletries such as toothbrush, toothpaste, comb,
bandaids, hygiene articles, razors and sewing kits are
available at request in the Reception.
Towels
Extra towels and washtowels are available in the reception.
Valuables
Valuables worth a maximum amount of 10 000 SEK can be deposited in the Reception. The hotel can not be held responsible for valuables left in the hotel room.
Voltage
220 volt, 50HZ. Adapters is available through the Reception againts
deposition.
Wake-up
Wake-up alarm can be set through the TV (under “meny”)
or dial 9 for assistance.
Water
Tap water in Stockholm is potable and of high quality.
