• Fill out Candidate Packet
• Essay questions, official transcript, obtain signatures from Advisors and College President,
headshot. All completed Candidate Applications must be RECEIVED by 5:00 pm on
Wednesday, March 5, 2014
• Caucus interview with Dr. Rod Risley
• Travel to International Convention (Orlando, FL) to campaign
• Prepare table top display, one information piece to hand out, have campaign team
• Prepare a speech about the Honors Study Topic
•
If you make finalist, you will give this speech to the entire membership present

Preside over Annual Convention and Honors Institute
Submit goals for the society and your division to work on in your tenure
Travel to regional conferences to give workshops and support
Communication with the Regional Coordinators and Regional Teams in your

Maintain at least a 3.5gpa during year
Minimum of at least six (6) credits
Remain an active member in your home chapter
Serve as an ambassador for Phi Theta Kappa in all settings
Abide by the Honor Code
Prepare a 10 minute speech about the Honors Study Topic to give at regional events (needs
to be well researched with academic sources)
