I think that I have good physical wellness. I have a good workout plan, track calories,
eat well about 70 percent of the time but the main thing I need to work on is sleep and
caffeine management. I average about 5 or 6 hours of sleep every night, I want to make
8.
For emotional wellness, I handle stress well by working or exercising to cope with it. An
example: I was going through a hard time this summer, so I tried out a lot of new
hobbies and picked up hours at my job.
Intellectually I love learning new things and picking up hobbies. For example, this
summer I did SEC 701 certification test prep, learned AI architecture and taught myself
how to do a handstand.
Interpersonally I don’t have a lot of friends outside my family to fall back on, so I’ve had
a sort of goal to make more this year. College has been a great opportunity since I have
made some friends already 2 weeks into school.
Culturally I like meeting people from other cultures and learning their perspectives on
different topics. I’m open minded and want to improve by learning about more cultures.
Spiritually I have a good sense of my morals which come from a Christian household
growing up. I like hearing about where other people get their morals and am open
minded.
My home environment is clean most of the time, but I’ve caught myself needing to clean
up empty soda cans and dirty clothes off the floor every week or so. To improve I need
to immediately clean up instead of waiting
Financially I am doing pretty good, I have savings, checking, and am opening a new
bank account outside of cashapp at BOS. I manage my money well and it will give me
an advantage in the future. One thing I need to stop doing is buying so many energy
drinks because they can be 3 dollars a day or more.
Occupationally with cybersecurity as my major, I feel secure as after high school I
should be making a good amount of money and excited to study. My goal is to keep
doing well in my classes and pursue cybersecurity as my career. I work part time
outside of school as well.
Overall, I think that my best wellness is my physical wellness. I learned how to do pull
ups this year and lost 50lbs, mostly fat, I eat good protein, and track calories. Exercise
affects my emotional wellbeing because I release endorphins and feel good after I lift. I
don’t sweat as much as I used to when I was heavier and every day I feel good. I want
to improve my fiber, carb, and water intake every day while I track calories. A connection
I’ve felt is interpersonally and physically as I am more confident. An area that I want to
move into and improve on more is my financial wellness making more money. My
greatest opportunity for growth is physical wellness, but my sleep is limiting me.
