There is a famous phenomenon in many countries
around the world, the immigration of rural people to
cities. As a result: the population in the countryside is
decreasing. they have their reasons and the government
should shoulder the burden. In my opinion, I think that it
has negative effects more than the positive effects.
Firstly, countryside’s population immigrate to the
modern and industrial cities, seeking to better chances
and income. Because in rural cities, there is poor
infrastructure and low income. In addition, their income is
too low that they can’t even afford their simplest needs.
All of that is the government’s responsibility, and these
are the major reason of why this phenomenon has
increased a lot lately.
Secondly, it has a lot of negative implications. It
noticeably affects the agricultural products and dairy
products. and this leads to increasing the importation’s
rates and decreasing the exportation’s rates. Therefore,
the country’s economy will be affected a lot.
In addition, this will put more pressure on the
government to build more industrial facilities that will cost
more money. It also will cause more slums around the
cities which weakens the infrastructure and will lead to
declining the quality of life there. The overpopulation
rates will rise noticeably, hence, the pollution may appear
noticeably and this will lead to more health problems.
On the other hand, the immigration to the industrial
cities will lead to increasing the number of factories, which
have positive impacts. It will improve manufacturing rates
that may support the economy.
In conclusion, it may have positive effects, but on the
other side, it has a lot of negative effects that pose serious
problems that need to be solved quickly. No one has the
right to blame these people, unless the country provides
them with their main needs.
