What I Have Learned
From the very beginning of the second semester. I honestly don’t know how to
start our qualitative research in PR1, also how to cooperate with my members.
But considering where I was before, I can say that I grew this second semester
and showed my competence in each subject including PR1. This semester has
been a roller coaster for me, especially with my group mates but setting all that
aside, we still managed to get our research title defended and accepted so we as
a group had more trust in each other every time we made a successful approach
on our research. A lot has been obtained and also lost but we still strive each day
for our research to be successful.
Through the span of two weeks, we have been learning about the significance of
research, specifically qualitative research. It is important to know what great
importance it is to have answers and ideas to modern concepts and contribute to
the body of knowledge. We’ve also learned the difference between quantitative
and qualitative research. Doing so gave us the knowledge on how to engage on
our title.
Regarding our title defense, I’ve learned so many things including the strengths
and weaknesses of our title and also how to improve on our introduction as well.
It gave us the opportunity to improve ourselves to better understand the true
meaning of our title, the minor and major goals about our title, and knowing the
scope and limitations of our study and goals. This research has been a really big
help for me to prove what I was capable of doing, and I still do think that I need to
grow as a group member and understand each of my group members to provide
my help to them. I have learned so many things and hoping I’ll learn more in the
future.
