Discussion
Today we are
going to
discuss about
properties of
quadrilateral
and their
interior angle
of
quadrilateral.
Listen to
the class
Teacher
makes the
children to
read the
properties of
quadrilateral.
Student
promptly
open their
textbook
and listen
to the class.
Teachers
explain the
properties
quadrilateral
as sum of
angles of
quadrilateral
is 360.
Listen and

Problem
solving
Teacher

students to
test on
problem
solving.
Students
will try to
understand
the
problem.
Try to sum of
all interior
angles of 360.
Similarly, the
sum of
triangle is
180.
ABCD is a quadrilateral
and AC is a diagonal (see
figure)
We know the sum of the
three angles of triangle
ABC is 180°.
Similarly in ΔADC.
∠BAC + ∠B + ∠ACB =
180°.-------(1) (Angle
sum property of a
triangle)
Similarly, in
ADC,
∠CAD + ∠D+ ∠DCA=180---(2)
Adding (1) and (2) we
get ,
∠BAC + ∠B +
∠ACB+∠CAD + ∠D+
∠DCA=360
So, ∠BAC+∠CAD=∠A and
∠BCA+∠DCA=∠C
So,
∠A+∠B+∠C+∠D=360°
sum of four angles of
quadrilateral is 360°.
