My worldview is likely a very common one, as I believe the ultimate reason for why we are here
and
everything we have done it to simply make life easier for the next generation. The meaning of
life is to make the next person's life easier or simpler; it is why so much of life is spent trying to
achieve one's idea of success, since with that success you can make life easier. A very common
occurrence in history is a parent achieving success and then the child spending the fortune,
“generational wealth” is usually gone within a few generations. You can get very spiritual with
this if you believe in reincarnation or persistent souls after death, with many people believing
you get reincarnated into whoever's life you made easiest, or you stick around as a soul as long
as your wealth is helping someone. It can also be a very depressing worldview if you imagine
you disappear if you do not achieve any of these goals.
