Reconciling, Forgiveness, Mercy, and Justice
When we ask God and Jesus Christ for forgiveness it will always be accepted. God had
gracefully sent Jesus Christ to us “In short, we are unrighteous. However, Jesus Christ can and
did live the perfect and sinless life. He is righteous. In Christ’s death, God credits us with
Christ’s righteous life. In this great exchange, we inherit his righteousness, and he takes our sin.
The flawless life of Christ is significant to you and me as we daily walk in grace.” (Cartwright,
Hulshof, Gutierres, p. 6).
