COURSE REGULATIONS
• All students are required to sign in before the start of the class.
• Random sign-out will be conducted at the end of the class.
• Failure to sign in or out on time will be considered as an absence.
• All leave requests must be submitted through the NTU leave system.
• Students are encouraged to ask questions. If you do ask a question,
please see the TA after the talk for registration.
Grading System
• A- is the baseline grade for everyone.
• Asking a question will raise your grade by one rank.
• First Absence: Deduction of two ranks.
• Two absences result in an F grade.
• First Leave: No impact on grades.
• Each leave after the first will result in a one rank deduction.
Grading System
• If Student A asks two questions (+2) and is absent once (-2) with
one approved leave (-0), they will receive an A-.
• If Student B asks three questions (+3) with two approved leaves
(-1), they will receive an A+.
•If Student C is absent twice, they will receive an F.
