THE INTERNET FOR LEARNING, WORKING, COMMUNICATION, INFORMATION AND SOCIALIZING
CYBERBULLYING IS A SERIOUS PROBLEM THAT CAN HAVE IMPACT EVEN ON CHILDREN.
Impacts of Cyberbullying
❖ Isolating one’s self.
❖ Feeling hurt, angry, afraid or anxious.
❖ Low self-esteem and confidence.
❖ Not wanting to go to school or be with friends.
❖ Loss of appetite, headaches.
❖ Depression and thoughts of self-harm.
❖ Other victims may even commit suicide.
❖ Poor performance at school.
What to do if you are
cyberbullied
1. Ignore the bully and do not respond.
2. Tell a trusted adult like your parents, teacher
or church elder.
3. Do not delete what they send, save it for
evidence.
4. Block the bully if you are able to.
5. Take care of yourself and do things you
enjoy to feel better.

you care.
