ABSTRACT
The general objective of the study would be, to assess the effect of evaluating and controlling
system on employee’s performance. To achieve the objective of the study necessary data would
be used. Primary and secondary source of data would be collected in order to gather adequate
information which is helpful for the study. Primary data would be collected through
questionnaires distribute to the employees. Secondary data would be collected from review the
documents, manuals of Dire Dawa university administrative staff. Systematic random sampling
technique would be used to select the appropriate sample size from the employees who can give
adequate information for the paper and for better population representativeness in the study and
also at the end of the chapter conclusions and recommendations would be included with the
study major findings that employees of the university should be evaluated in order to develop, the
performances of the employees.
