TRAINING PROGRAMME ON ADVANCED COMPUTER NETWORKING
(SHORT TERM – TWO WEEKS)
The course provides training on computer networking from basics to advanced
level router configuration.

• Internet Routing Principles and Network Implementation using Routers
• Static Routing
• Dynamic Routing/ Configuration of Routing protocols (RIP/OSPF)
• Overview of MPLS Technology
• MPLS VPN Configuration
• MPLS QoS and Traffic Engineering
WHO CAN APPLY
The course is recommended for Engineering Degree/ Diploma holders, Engineering
students, Graduates, Working computer professionals.

BSNL will award certificates to trainees on successful completion of the course.
PLACEMENT
No placement or Placement assistance will be provided by BSNL.

THE INSTITUTE
BSNL - Regional Telecom Training Centre, Thiruvananthapuram is one of the
premier training institutes of BSNL. It imparts training in modern
Telecommunication Engineering, Information Technology, and Management to
BSNL executives. This ISO 9001:2008 certified centre of excellence is equipped
with state-of-the-art telecom technology laboratories, which include mobile
communication systems of GSM 3G & CDMA, switching systems of OCB-Alcatel
France & CDOT make, transmission systems in digital microwave, fiber optics, SDH,
STM rings and data communication systems with Internet nodes, Wi-Fi equipments,
IP MPLS VPN and Cisco routers. The faculty members are well-qualified technocrats
and experienced professionals from among various telecom specialties. The 30
acres of lush green campus houses Library, Hostels and Recreational amenities.

HOSTEL FACILITY
Separate Hostel facility available for Ladies and Gents if required. The boarding
and lodging charges in the hostel are Rs 148/= per day per student. Library and
recreational amenities are also available in the campus.
TRAINING CENTRE LOCATION
The 30 acres of lush green campus, which is bestowed with the environment for
learning and living is situated at Kaimanam (NH 47) just 4kms away from
Thiruvananthapuram Central Railway station / KSRTC Central Bus station
