Who we are
RANJIT THAMBYRAJAH
Founder and managing director
Ranjit started his finance career at the
Commonwealth Bank of Australia in 1979. After
realising that he was born to be self-employed,
Ranjit began investing in property and in 1981
became the managing director of a Sydney real
estate group. In 1984 he purchased his first nursing
home and within a few years had expanded the
business with the acquisition of five additional
facilities. During this time he established himself as
a commercial finance broker and began helping
other entrepreneurs restructure their businesses. In
the mid 90s he founded Acuity Funding in an effort
to help fellow business owners and property
developers with their finance needs…
