HYPOPYON Subconjunctival hemorrhage No good slide completely benign normal acuity, etc REVIEW • Acuity, pain, photophobia in association with red eye are worrisome • Check conjunctivae, acuity, pupil, cornea • Often hard to distinguish causes of conjunctivitis - ok to use abx when in doubt • Conjunctivitis is contagious • Acute glaucoma - vomiting patient with dilated pupil
