Abstract
Recent interest in thermoelectric materials for power generation applications has
initiated the development of material that have high thermoelectric potential to be used
in thermoelectric modules for power generation application from waste heat.
Antimony based films will be fabricated by using by using different synthesis methods
like physical vapor deposition (PVD), pulsed laser deposition (PLD) and chemical vapor
deposition CVD.Temperature treatment will be done after deposition by using muffle
furnace. Different series of thin films will be fabricated by changing dopants and doping
concentrations to achieve high figure of merit ZT. Characterizations like XRD for crystal
structure Analysis, Raman Spectroscopy for vibrational mood study and SEM for
surface morphology will be studied. Thermoelectric application shall done by using
Seebeck measurement system.
