CSR Summary
I chose Patagonia to research. Patagonia is an American retailer of outdoor recreation
clothing, equipment, and food. It was founded in 1973 by Yvon Chouinard and is based
in Ventura, California. Patagonia is involved with environmental initiatives by using
sustainable materials, like recycled fabrics and organic cotton, in its products. They’ve
also donated over 185 million dollars to nonprofit environmental groups and
conservation efforts since the company was founded in 1973. The company is also
committed to fair labor practices and partners with factories that ensure safe and fair
working conditions.
