This topic talk about the result of the 20-year study into what the reason why the people in the UK at the
age over 18 participate in art events
It can be seen that the adults who have wanted to see some specific artists remain constant for 20 years,
from 58% to 56%. The number of adults who have attended arts events and taken the children with has
risen significantly over 20 years, from 9% to 15% the first 10 years and from 15% to 24% for the next 10
years. The number of attendance took part in art events for special celebration dropped quickly from 27%
to 20% for the first 10 years of study followed by a sudden decreased from 20% to 9% for the next 10
years. And the adults who have participated in art events for business increase slowly until now, from 6%
to 11%.
According to the 20-year study, it can be seen that more adults want their children to be acquainted with
art. And half of the number of people in the study still have a desire to enjoy art and want to see
something special.
