To determine the action of saliva on the starch solution.
Materials required:

Test tubes
Starch solution
Iodine solution
Saliva
Causes of heat burn
Procedure:
Take a starch solution in a test tube. Add few drops of iodine
solution on it. The solution becomes blue black colour. Divide it into two
portions. In one portion add saliva. Observe the test tubes and note it.
