advertised. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Metallurgy and Materials Engineering from the Malawi
University of Science and Technology, and I believe my academic background, combined with
hands-on experience in materials processing and mining operations, makes me a strong
candidate for this role.
Throughout my studies, I gained in-depth knowledge of mineral extraction, materials behavior,
rock mechanics, and quality control. I have also worked on projects focused on sustainable use
of natural resources, including limestone. My final-year project explored the potential of local
agricultural waste as a substitute in cementitious materials, giving me valuable insights into
cement production processes.
I am a proactive team player, a fast learner, and I pay attention to safety and quality standards. I
am confident that my background in metallurgy, combined with a passion for efficient and
environmentally conscious resource utilization, aligns well with the goals of Portland Cement
Malawi.
