closer look at some examples of idioms used in sentences. Now, let’s move
on to another exciting activity!
Direction. I will select a volunteer to roll the dice here in front and the
number have a corresponding sentence to be revealed by the student. You
will then pull the paper and read the sentence loudly and identify the idiom
in the sentence.

Activity No. 5 (Two peas in a Pod!)
We’ve now reached the exciting part of our lesson—it's time to apply
everything you’ve learned!
Directions. I will group you into two and will either create or use idioms in
your short skits. I will give each group a set of idioms written on index cards
or slips of paper. Each group will choose an idiom from their set and acts it
out. Each group will then present their skit and drawing in front of the class,
this will showcase your skills, collaboration, and mastery.
Option 1: Drawings
The first group will Illustrate their idiom on a large illustration board. They’ll
draw a picture that uses the idiom on a given situation the rest of the class
well then
guess the meaning of the illustration.
Option 2: Short skit
The second group will come up with a short skit or dialogue using their idiom
in context. This allows students to practice using idioms in real-life situations.
