Capstone Keystone Cornerstone 2 Objective Senior thesis projects: “The most personal expression of the value of an education in higher ed below a masters, and, when done right, should be on a topic that a student can turn into a masters, and perhaps lead to a Ph.D., all of which open doors to better jobs and higher pay.” 3 Objective The goal is to foster creativity, practical skills, teamwork, and leadership by allowing students to independently design, develop, and evaluate their projects. Students of a specific major apply the theoretical knowledge learned in their field to comprehensively solve various real-world problems encountered in the industry. This involves planning, developing, and producing deliverables throughout the entire process of problem-solving. 4 Course schedule Team formation & Mentor (week 1) : Role & Responsibility, Project plan Idea brainstorming (weeks 2~3) Topic selection (week 4) : Problem Define & approaches Project execution (week 5~7) Presentation & Feedback (week 8) : Motivation / Literature survey / Approaches / Future plan Project execution (week 9~14) Final presentation (week 15, before Final exam week) : Project planning / Deliverable 5
