1. For the instant represented point B crosses the horizontal axis through point O with a downward
velocity 𝑣 = 0.6 m/s. Determine the corresponding value of the angular velocity of link OA.
2. Determine the angular velocity of link AB and the velocity of collar B for the instant
represented. Assume the quantities 𝜔 and r to be known.
3. End A of the link has a downward velocity v of 2 m/s during an interval of its motion. For the
position where 𝜃 = 30 determine the angular velocity of AB.
4. A four-bar linkage is shown in the figure (the ground “link” OC is considered the fourth bar).
If the drive link OA has a counterclockwise angular velocity 𝜔 = 10 rad/s, determine the
angular velocities of links AB and BC.
