CHAPTER I.
THE PROBLEM AND ITS BACKGROUND
1.1 INTRODUCTION
Students face major cybersecurity dangers throughout the digital environment
which provides endless possibilities for study and communication. The exponential
growth of technology with the concurrent expansion of internet usage puts students
at extreme risk of facing phishing scams alongside malware incidents together with
data breach occurrences and virtual harassment. These security threats harm
personal safety while causing students to experience such severe disruptions that it
proves essential to establish strong cybersecurity educational initiatives. The study
works to create and test a comprehensive cybersecurity training system for ACLC
students because it provides students knowledge alongside essential capabilities and
analytical thinking abilities for safe digital interactions. By promoting positive
cybersecurity practices among students at ACLC the program enables digital
success through secure online activities at all safety levels.
