I want to pursue higher education in the cybersecurity field, because I’ve always had a huge
passion working with computers, and I know cybersecurity is what I want to do for the rest of
my life. I already have knowledge of Networking Fundamentals and Cybersecurity. I’ve been
enrolled in the Advanced Technology Center my whole high school education, Where i’ve taken
college credit classes in Network Administration & Engineering, as well as a foundation in
cybersecurity. I have earned my CompTIA Network+, I will be earning my CCNA, (Cisco
Certified Network Associate) and my CompTIA Security+ certifications by the end of my senior
year. George Mason University is right for me because it has the best cyber security programs
Virginia has to offer, as well as a very nice Campus and students.
