How to create custom VOs in BICCC for Oracle Sales Cloud

High-level steps:
1) Identify the Custom Object for which you want to create the Custom VO in BICCC
2) Configuring the Custom VO in BICCC
Identify the Oracle Sales Cloud Custom Object for which you want to create the Custom
VO in BICCC
Steps:
1. Login to Oracle Sales Cloud
2. Make sure all your custom objects are published to the mainline.
3. Create a new sandbox (again) and Activate it.
4. Navigate to Tools -> Application Composer
5. Select the ‘Application’ that the custom object has been configured in (Common /
Sales)
6. Open up the Custom Objects menu and identify the custom object.
7. Edit the custom object properties and capture the API Name

Configure the Custom VO in BICCC
1. Login to biacm application on your instance
2. The URL will be like:
https://<<OSC BI URL>>/biacm
3. Click on ‘Configure Cloud Extract’ on the left ‘Tasks’pane
4. In the ‘Offering’ select the Offering as ‘Oracle Sales Analytics’
5. In the ‘Data Store for Offering’ section, click on the ‘+’ sign to create a custom VO
6. In the ‘Define Data Store’ page, enter the ‘Data Store Key’ as:
CrmAnalyticsAM.ExtensibilityAM.<<API Name>>
<<API Name>>is the API Name that was captured in the previous steps for the custom
object.

7. Click on Next
8. Select ‘All Columns’ from the dropdown
9. Select the necessary columns and check the ‘Used in Select list’
These columns from the custom object will be available in the custom VO during extract
using BICCC
10. Click on ‘Save’ to save the custom VO
11. Verify that the custom VO is created by filtering on the ‘Data Store for Offering’
