OBJECTIVES
TUESDAY
THURDAY
FRIDAY
Objectives must be met over the week and connected to the curriculum standards. To meet the objectives, necessary procedure must be followed and if needed, additional
lessons, exercises, and remedial activities may be done for developing content knowledge and competencies. These are assessed using Formative Assessment strategies. Valuing
objectives support the learning of content and competencies and enable children to find significance and joy in learning the lessons. Weekly objectives shall be derived from the
Curriculum Guides.
A. Content Standard
The learners demonstrate an understanding
of concepts and underlying principles in
terminating and connecting electrical wiring
and electronics circuits
B. Performance Standards
The learner shall be able to demonstrate
proper termination and connection of
electrical wiring and electronics circuits
C. Learning Competencies /
Objectives (Write the LC
Code)
LO 1. Plan and prepare for termination/
connection of electrical wiring/ electronics
circuits
1.1 Check materials according to
specifications and tasks
1.2 Select appropriate tools and
equipment according to task
requirements
1.3 Follow planned task to ensure OHS
guidelines and procedure
1.4 Prepare electrical wiring/electronics
circuits correctly for
connecting/terminating in accordance with
instruction and work site procedures

III. CONTENT
Content is what the lesson is all about. It pertains to the subject matter that the teacher aims to teach. In the Curriculum Guide, the content can be tackled in a week or two.
IV. LEARNING
RESOURCES
A. References
List of materials to be used in different days. Varied sources of materials sustain children’s interest in the lesson and in learning. Ensure that there is a mix of concrete and
manipulative materials as well as paper-based materials. Hands-on learning promotes concept development.
1. Teacher’s Guide pages
2. Learners’ Materials
pages
3. Textbook pages
Module 5-7 Terminating and connecting electrical
wiring and electronic circuit (TCEW) page 1-12
4. Additional Materials
from Learning Resources
Portals
B. Other Learning Resources
V.
PROCEDURES
A. Revising previous lesson or
presenting the new lesson
B. Establishing a purpose for
the lesson
C. Presenting examples/
instances of the new lesson
These steps should be done across the week. Spread out the activities appropriately so the students will learn well. Always be guided by demonstration of learning by the
students which you can infer from formative assessment activities. Sustain learning systematically by providing students with multiple ways to learn new things, practice their
learning, question their learning processes, and draw conclusions about what they learned in relation to their life experiences and previous knowledge. Indicate the time
allotment for each step.
This module was designed and written with
you in mind. It is here to help you
demonstrate an understanding of concepts
and underlying principles in terminating and
connecting electrical wiring and electronics
circuits which will equip and enable you to
demonstrate proper termination and
connection of electrical wiring and
electronics circuits.
Perform What I know letter A-C
 To work with electronic and electrical
circuits, a beginner needs to acquire
special hand tools and equipment. Each
of these hand tool and equipment does
one or more specific job in connecting,
replacing, securing and troubleshooting
of electronic circuits.
 In doing so it is better for a beginner to
learn first how to use these hand tools
and equipment and where to use them,
before they can start to build or
assemble simple circuit up to
complicated ones. Here are the
following basic tools and equipment
needed for the repair of electronic
devices and
appliances.
Answer What’s New that is being presented
through TV screen.
Can you name at least five (5) electronic
hand tools and equipment, which are
familiar to you?
Ask the Students:
1.
What have you learned about
yesterday's lesson?
2.
what are the two types of
currents?
Give examples of electronic
components.
3.
The teacher shows a computer
motherboard to the class and ask:
How does the technician know the
components of the motherboard?
Ask the Students:
1.
What have you learned
about yesterday lesson?
Ask:
What is your idea about the drawing?.
Possible answers:
Because of its different electronic Symbols
The teacher presents the lesson through
PowerPoint presentation:
Discuss
• ELECTRONIC SCHEMATIC
SYMBOLS
Discuss:
What is an Electrical wiring diagram
and electronics symbols use.

Submission and checking of
the students’ outputs.
D. Discussing new concepts
and practicing new skills #1
PERFOMANCE TASK 2
Discuss the following lessons/ topics:
Lesson 1
 Basic Electronic Hand Tools
 Basic Electronic Equipment
 Occupational
Health and Safety Lesson
Lesson 2
 Electrical Theory AC/DC Voltage
 Components of a Simple Circuit
Clasification of Electronic
Components
ACTIVITY 2 Assume that you are going
to make a simple circuit on turning lighting
a LED. Make a schematic diagram that
would show the flow of the current. Draw
it inside the box. And add an explanation
to your drawing.
`
E. Discussing concepts and
practicing new skills #2
F. Developing mastery
(Leads to Formative
Assessment 3)
G. Finding practical
applications of concepts and
skills in daily living
ACTIVITY 1 Directions: Identify each
symbol and write their names on the
second column.
H. Making generalizations and
abstractions about the lesson
Let the students make generalization on
their understanding on the lessons.
I. Evaluating learning
Be ready for a long quiz.
A. Dentification
B. True or False
C. Multiple Choice
D. Performance Task
Long quiz
Multiple choice
J. Additional activities for
application or remediation
VI. REMARKS
VII. REFLECTION
Reflect on your teaching and assess yourself as a teacher. Think about your students’ progress this week. What works? What else needs to be done to help the students learn?
Identify what help your Instructional Supervisors can provide for you so when you meet them, you can ask them relevant questions.
A. No. of learners who earned
80% in the evaluation.
B. No. of learners who require
additional activities for
remediation
C. Did the remedial lessons work?
No. of learners who have
caught up with the lesson.
D. No. of learners who continue to
require remediation.
E. Which of my teaching
strategies worked well? Why
did it work?
F. What difficulties did I
encounter which my principal
or supervisor can help me
solve?
G. What innovation or localized
materials did I used/discover
which I wish to share with
other learners?
