Process>
1.Prepare the Kamote and Peel the kamote and cut
it into small pieces. Boil or steam the kamote until
soft. Once cooked, mash it into a smooth
consistency.
2. Add condensed milk to the mashed kamote to
sweeten it to your taste. Mix well until smooth and
combined.
3.Lay a lumpia wrapper flat on a clean surface.
Place a spoonful of the sweet kamote filling near the
edge of the wrapper. Fold the sides over the filling,
then roll it tightly into a cylinder, sealing the edges
with a little water to prevent it from opening.
4.Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Once
the oil is hot, carefully place the lumpia into the pan.
Fry until golden brown and crispy on all sides, about
3-5 minutes.
5.Remove the lumpia from the oil and place on
paper towels to drain excess oil. After cooking
drizzle condensed milk on top for added sweetness
and serve warm.
