Solution 1: Verify Essential Services on Your
Server

Important for Full Program Users: If you’re using the full version of QuickBooks
on your server, first enable multi-user hosting.
•
Launch QuickBooks on your server computer.
•
Click on File, then select Utilities. If you see the option for Host Multi-User
Access, click it.
•
Don’t select Stop Hosting Multi-User Access.
•
Ensure that QuickBooks services are running on your server. Follow the steps
below for QuickBooksDBXX and then repeat for QBCFMonitorService.
•
Open the Windows Start menu.
•
Type “Run” into the search bar.
•
Open the Run window.
•
Type “services.msc”. Press Enter.
•
Locate and double-click on QuickBooksDBXX from the list.

Set the Startup Type to Automatic.
