EXERCISE: “AN ARTICLE”.
“THROWAWAY
CITIES”
According to recent news from “The
Journal” newspaper, dated on November 20th
2017, as many as half of the cities in Spain
seem to have a lack of viable solutions on
offer to grapple with the ongoing problem of
pollution. However, not everybody would
agree with this assertion, due to the fact that
the current government is to adopt new
measures linked to awareness and what is
more, modern ways of recycling.
household rubbish. It is well known that people
don’t have a broad outlook on recycling, but
more than that, one in three people doesn´t
recycle fried oil properly and doesn´t use biodegradable cleaning products. Admittedly,
humans never broach the question of how
long the degradation of organic compounds
lasts. For instance, it takes paper towels from
two to four weeks to disappear and glass
bottles entail undetermined time. As a
consequence of this, modern ways of
recycling are about to emerge in our cities
with modern bins for the litter to be disposed
of rather than dumped.
To begin with, one of the most
important facts in polluted cities is to raise
awareness. The fact is that individuals seem to
turn a blind eye to what is going on, and
nobody thinks about what is the point of
having laws to protect the environment, if they
are never enforced. Thus, the government and
Greenpeace are going to launch a green TVcampaign to coach how to recycle properly
and show the aftermaths of irresponsible
behavior concerning this issue.
To conclude, everybody knows the
extent to which a myriad of citizens try to pass
the buck when it comes to recycling. On
account of this, it is taking a detrimental toll
on marvellous cities because of its polluted
environment. Anyway , today people can do
things to turn over the situation, with simple
things such as; raising awareness and the
improvement
in
recycling.
Furthermore, another striking problem is
rooted in the way we recycle, especially
