The given words above are called BLENDED WORDS or sometimes called
portmanteau (a French word which means “suitcase”).
A portmanteau word is a type of compound word wherein some sounds (phonemes)
are blended rather than combined whole. For example the words web + log are
combined to create the word “blog” instead of weblog.
