When and how often should team meetings happen?
o Mandatory once a week. Wednesdays 11AM-11:45AM
o Cannot miss more than two classes or meetings (unexcused)
o Being more than 15 minutes late (unexcused) to a meeting 3 times counts as missing a
meeting.
o If you are ever more than 10 minutes late to a meeting, you must buy the whole team
coffee the next meeting.
- Under what conditions is it OK to miss a meeting?
o Sickness, Appointments, Unforeseeable Emergency
Participation & Information Sharing
- What do we mean by participation?
o Contributing to all meetings, being proactive, working on assignments
- How will/do we encourage participation?
o Commit to what you say you will do

o Majority Rules. In a hard 50/50 split, we will seek advice from facilitators.
- How will we handle conflicts?
o Being respectful, let both sides bring up their side

What do we mean by quality?
o Every group member approves of the work being submitted
- How will we monitor our process and progress?
o An active checklist file that we all have access to and can check things off on
- Intentional plagiarism is unacceptable. All incidents will be immediately reported to the
facilitator(s).
o Use of AI like Chat GPT is acceptable for research, but as a tool, not to e copied from.

Organization: I use to-do lists
and calendars on a regular
basis.
Weaknesses
Communication: I’m not a
strong communicator.
Leadership: I have a natural
ability to motivate other toward
a common goal. I’m able to see
the bigger picture, align team
members with shared
objectives, and provide the
guidance needed to navigate
challenges. My communication
skills ensure that everyone
understands their role and feels
valued, which boosts morale
and creates a sense of
collaboration.
Communication: I am a strong
communicator during group
work as I habitually update and
check in with team members on
status and feelings about the
project.
Commitment: I have also
worked at my own pace before
and usually tend to get
everything done super-fast
which leads to me expecting
the rest of my teammates to
deliver the same.
Detailed plans on misconduct of a team member:
Commitment: I’ve done work
at my own pace in the past
during group projects.
Leadership: I need to continue
to work on my leadership skills
because I often wait until it is
necessary to step up and either
get the ball rolling or take a bigpicture mindset to help direct
the project positively.
1. Warning before misconduct: If a team member is on track to commit misconduct, the other
three members will issue them a warning in written word.
2. Internal Discipline: If a team member continues the behaviour and commits misconduct, the
other three members may vote to:
a. Escalate the situation to the facilitator(s) and seek advice in how to proceed.
b. Vote to remove the member from the group permanently (Must be consensus and
supported by the facilitator(s)).
c. Vote to retain the member and discipline internally (Must be consensus)
3. Cannot Miss more than 2 classes
