 Go to the Compatibility tab.
 Uncheck Run this program as Administrator.
 If it's grayed out, click Show Settings for All Users first.
 Click Apply and then OK.
 Open QuickBooks and test by sending an email or transaction.
 Click Edit, then Preferences in QuickBooks.
 Make sure Microsoft Outlook is open and signed in before using Microsoft Exchange
Server with Microsoft Outlook.
 Go to the My Preferences tab after choosing Send Forms.
 Select Outlook as your email option and click OK.
 Send a test email from QuickBooks. If there's still an issue, proceed with the following
steps:
 Again, click Edit, then Preferences.
 Go to the My Preferences tab after selecting Send Forms.
 Choose QuickBooks Email or Webmail, then click OK to turn this option off.
 Repeat the steps, return to the My Preferences tab, select Outlook, and click OK.
 Close QuickBooks and any other open programs.
 Restart your computer.
 Close QuickBooks.
 Open Internet Explorer.
 Click on Tools, then go to the Settings menu, and select Internet options.
 Go to the Programs tab, then click Set Programs.
 Choose Set your default programs.
 Select your preferred email service.
 Click Apply and then OK.
 Close Internet Explorer.
 Restart your computer.
 In Microsoft Word, start a new document.
 Click on the File menu, and choose Send and Email as PDF Attachment.
 Close all currently running programs.
 Open the Windows Start menu.
 Open File Explorer by typing its name into the search bar.
 C:\Windows\System32 should appear in the File Explorer address bar.
 When QuickBooks is unable to send your email to Outlook, common causes
include incorrect email settings, damaged MAPI32.dll files, or outdated software.
Solutions involve checking email preferences, repairing the MAPI32.dll file, and
updating QuickBooks and Outlook to the latest versions.
