Admire: To look up to someone and respect them for their good qualities or
achievements.
Starve: To suffer or die because you don't have enough food to eat.
Pinpoint: To find or show the exact location of something with great accuracy.
Coordinate: A set of numbers that shows the exact location of a place on a map.
For example, it tells you where a city or a mountain is located by using numbers for
latitude and longitude.
Latitude: A measurement that tells how far north or south a place is from the
equator. Think of it like invisible lines that go around the Earth from east to west.
Longitude: A measurement that tells how far east or west a place is from the
Prime Meridian (an imaginary line that goes from the North Pole to the South
Pole). Think of it like invisible lines that run from the top to the bottom of the
Earth.
Equator: An imaginary line around the middle of the Earth, halfway between the
North and South Poles. It divides the Earth into the Northern Hemisphere and
the Southern Hemisphere. It's the warmest part of the planet.
Parallel: Two lines or paths that are always the same distance apart and never
touch, no matter how long they stretch. Think of railroad tracks.
Protest: A public demonstration where people gather to show their disagreement
with something, like a decision or a law. It's a way for them to voice their opinions
and demand change.
Terrifying: Extremely scary or frightening. Think of something that makes you
feel very afraid, like a haunted house or a big spider.
Flicks around: To move quickly and lightly, often changing direction.
On the beaky side: Having a prominent or noticeable nose, a bit like a bird's beak.
Inherit (genetically): To receive traits or qualities from your parents through
their genes, like eye colour, hair type, or height.
Glint: A small, quick flash of light, like when the sun hits a piece of glass or metal
just right. It's a tiny sparkle or shine.
Masses of hair: A large amount of hair, often thick and abundant, like a lion’s
mane or a person with very thick hair.

emotions.
Puffin: A small, seabird known for its colourful beak and adorable appearance.
They often live on cliffs and are great swimmers.
Characteristics: Qualities or features that describe a person, place, or thing.
These can be traits like being friendly, tall, intelligent, or colorful. They help us
understand what something or someone is like.
