Solution 1: Update Windows Firewall
 Close the QuickBooks application.
 Type Windows + R on your keyboard.
 Run dialogue box will open.
 Write Control firewall.cpl in it.
 Hit Enter.
 Open Windows Firewall.
 Within the Update your FirewallSettings section, select Check for
Updates.
 Select Update Now.
 Now, click the Use Recommended Settings options.
 Check for available updates.
 Restart your computer.
 Open QuickBooks.
Solution 2: Restart Database Server Manager Service
 Type Windows + R.
 Enter services.msc in the Run box.
 Click Enter.
 Now try to locate one of these services: QuickBooksDB26,
QuickBooksDB28, QuickBooksDB29, or QuickBooksDB27.
 Right-click on it when found.
 After that, click the Restart option.
Solution 3: Uninstall then Reinstall Server Manager
Step 1: Remove the QB Database Server Manager
 Press the Windows key + R.
 The Run dialog box will appear.
 Type appwiz.cpl, then click OK.
 Select QuickBooks Database Server Manager.
 Click on Uninstall/Change.
 Follow the instructions provided on the screen.
Step 2: Rename the installation directories
 If the Application Data or Program Data folders are not visible, you need
to enable the option to show hidden files and folders or use Windows
search.
 If you have other Intuit software installed, only remove or rename the
QuickBooks version folder located in C:\Program Data\Intuit.
 Access the installation directories as given below.
Windows 10/8/7
 C:\Program Data\Intuit
 C:\Program Data\Common Files\Intuit
 C:\Users[Username]\AppData\Local\Intuit
 C:\Program Files\Intuit
 C:\Program Files\Common Files\Intuit
Windows Vista
 C:\Program Data\Intuit
 C:\Program Data\Common Files\Intuit
 C:\Users\AppData\Local\Intuit
 C:\Program Files\Intuit
 C:\Program Files\Common Files\Intuit
 Press the Windows key + R.
 Open the Run command.
 Type (or paste) the directory path.
 Press Enter.
 Right-click on the folder.
 Select Rename.
 Rename it to .OLD.
 Now, reinstall the Database Server Manager
