Some people think that government is wasting money on the arts and that this money could be better spent elsewhere. To what extent do you agree with this view? It is widely argued that government should not spend cash on the arts and manage budget on fields much significant than arts. I completely support this opinion because today’s modern technologies and science should have been treated properly in the aim of future developments. First of all, sphere of science requires enormous finances to receive great results. In NASA, many scientific projects with guaranteed successes have been stopped in the wake of short finances. Brilliant scientist do not work for free as everyone in twenty first century; the era, where cash have essential role and nothing could have been solved without it. Besides, such projects play a big role in interests of government and individuals. So, spending a lot of money on science always pays for need as it brings advantages for society. I believe that arts do not need finance support to develop because in comparison with science art is part of culture and based on people, not money. Talent and skill are the key tools that lead to improvement and by creating paintings and sculptures artists make a great contribution to evolution of arts. So, arts are able to develop by itself, not requiring any investments. By centuries artists as Donatello, Michelangelo, Dante and Leonardo have been making every effort to create pieces of art without funding. Even though, in today’s world museums full of their works. To sum up, I absolutely agree with statement that government is wasting money by managing them in this purpose. Arts are not the field where enormous money should be invested because there are a lot spheres that require colossal fundings.
