What is Media? ➢The physical objects used to communicate with, or the mass communication through physical objects such as radio, television, computers, film, etc. ➢It also refers to any physical object used to communicate messages. What are the examples of media? Unlocking Mechanical working or produced by machines or machinery. Example: "a mechanical device" Unlocking Transmission is the process of sending and propagating analog or signals of digital information. Unlocking Platform is a group of technologies that are used as a base upon which other applications, processes or technologies are developed. ■ Divide students into 3 groups ■ Give students a mixed list of media content. Have them sort the items into the correct media type categories. ■ Evaluate their accuracy and understanding. ■ Two (2) minutes given in each group. At the end of the lesson, the students will be able to: a. Explain the characteristics and purposes of different media types. b. Classify content based on media type. c. Reflect on how media choices impact daily life.
