Jumpers connection:
Depending on the location of each KMALM board, there is a different connection of Jumpers as
depicted in the following images. One Jumper is used for the address of each board (ADDR) and it is
bridged in the cases where KMALM is located under the Car and on the Car top. It is not used on the
KMALM located on Car Operating Panel (COP).
Furthermore, for the activation of terminal resistor (TERM) there is a connection with a second Jumper
in the KMALM board located under the Car as depicted in the following picture.
All the above cases are presented in the following photos.

KMCANB – CANBus adaptοr
KMCANB is the connection point between all bus modules, either in the shaft or in the car, and the
main controller. KMCANB gathers all necessary information from peripheral modules via Genius bus
and transmits it to KMPRO via CANBUS. This solution is mainly used in cases with large travel distance,
in order to overcome the existing limitations in the bus system.

KMDOT display can be installed with either vertical or horizontal orientation. To change the orientation
of the display, short-circuit H/V Jumper (Horizontal/ Vertical). Specifically, when the jumper is shortcircuited the orientation is vertical and when it’s not short-circuited the orientation is horizontal.
Every KMDOT Display can receive an address in the correspondent bus. By short-circuiting Jumper
JPP display’s software version and address appear. In order to change display’s address, use IO1
and ΙΟ2 as described below.
