Performance Task: Statistical Data of School Children
The Philippine Statistics Authority is conducting a census on the number of pupils in each school in
Cagayan de Oro City. Being one of the statisticians, you are assigned to get the data in XUGS. You will be
assigned to gather data on a particular grade level, ask the class president in each class and get the
statistical data of the total number of pupils in a class. Also include the total number of girls and boys in
each class. After acquiring the data, fill-out the form and have it submitted to your head.
Guidelines:
1. You are grouped into 4.
2. You’re given a schedule by your teacher on when to visit your assigned level and ask each of the
class president for the needed data.
3. Fill-out the form then with the needed data on the day set by your teacher.
4. Make sure that the data provided are accurate and complete before submitting to the teacher.
Timeline:
Day 1: Planning with the group on when to visit the assigned grade level for data gathering.
Days 2-3: Approaching the class presidents and ask for the data. However, this is done before class and
during recess.
Day 4: Filling-in the data in the Statistical Data Sheet
